Learn to read and interpret a subject with the elements of drawing: line, form, value, space and texture are the foundation for successful painting endeavors. Combining these elements in the pre planning stages will result in balanced and harmonious drawings. Subject matter will vary from landscape, still life and portraiture. Drawing becomes an artist’s necessary strength and is only achieved by constant observation and continuous practice. The tools for this course are any drawing implements, pens, pencils, indian ink, an assortment of papers and sketch books.

Kenny Boone was born and raised in Cape Breton. Painting professionally since the early 1990’s, he quickly gained recognition for his work. Kenny has exhibited extensively in private and public galleries and his paintings can be found in numerous private collections throughout North America, Australia and Europe. When not painting on location, Kenny works from his studio in the coastal town of Dominion.
