Corey Katz and Steve Wadden present their five-part workshop “Intermediate Digital Photography” starting where they left off with their first, intro workshop. This fun back to basics workshop includes 5 different, three hour classes that will provide necessary, next level steps for beginners that are currently comfortable shooting in manual mode but want to learn more.

Locations for group photography outings will be determined at a later date. If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be pushed forward to the following Saturday. No makeup dates will be made available for registered participants unable to attend a class.

Corey Katz is a self-taught photographer from New Waterford, Nova Scotia. Over the years he’s established himself as one of the province’s most diverse young talents, as comfortable on a commercial shoot as he is capturing fine art landscapes. Recipient of the Sydney & Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2013, and Cape Breton Partnership’s Vital CB Excellence Award in 2015, Corey’s artistic vision and entrepreneurial spirit continue to soar. A recognized talent among his peers and clients alike, Corey has had his work published in regional, national and international newspapers and magazines.

Steve Wadden is an award-winning photojournalist based in Sydney, Nova Scotia. In late 2012, Steve shifted his focus towards producing long-term photo documentaries and found a mentor in National Geographic contributing photographer, Randy Olson. Today, his work continues to grow and evolve-driven by his passion for life and devotion to inspiring others through the power of photography.
