Caitlyn Purcell is an artist and jeweller living in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Her jewellery explores an interpretation of Cape Breton culture; the colours, personalities, wonder and difficulties of everyday life. Simple compositions embody her analysis of the world around her. She pairs colourful cabochons with beach-combed cast materials and precious metals to make pieces that are at once messy, jagged, crisp and beautiful.
