Create your own earrings, pendants, and more in this workshop that begins with an overview of wire and tools, provides patterns and techniques for an organic, freeform jewellery, and helps you develop your own style for a your own unique set of jewellery.
Gayle Bird is an online education instructor and course developer, writing and teaching curriculum for adult learners in various design subjects. She taught herself jewellery design and became a juried member of the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design in 2007. Her jewellery is sold in stores across Nova Scotia.
She published her first book, Freeform Wire Art Jewellery: Techniques for designing with wire, beads & gems, in the spring of 2015, and is the instructor of the 2016 five-star class on craftsy.com Organic Wire-Wrapped Pendants.
