Craig Joseph

Craig Joseph is a lifelong student of the creative disciplines; he loves learning new skills and traditional techniques. His most recent fascinations are sewing and textile work. A former Cosmetologist with a renewed passion for the creative economy Craig comes to the Centre with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador. He also brings nearly a decade of administrative and technical industry experience from the Craft Council of Newfoundland & Labrador, the Mary E. Black Gallery in Halifax, and commercial art galleries in Atlantic Canada.

As Business Development Coordinator, Craig’s role is to connect industry resources to grow sustainable and equitable craft businesses on our island. Whether you’re establishing yourself as a producer or creating succession planning for a thriving business, Craig coordinates services to streamline these processes.
