Terron makes and sells more wooden spoons more than any other article because so many people have a use for them. Terron also makes bowls, spoon holders, stools, coat hooks, benches and occasionally, just sculpture. For spoons, Terron uses hardwood beech, maple, birch, apple, plum, saskatoon, hop-hornbeam and more. Some of the wood comes from his own firewood, some he cuts from his property near Whycocomagh, and sometimes people give him pieces. Terron likes to have a variety and he’s willing to try almost any kind that seems like it might work.
