This course focuses on using panels, images and words, to tell vibrant stories. Whether you are looking to develop a story of your own, or adapt an old folk tale, this class will work on methods to get your ideas, words, and images to page.

Beginning with warm up drawing exercises, writing prompt games, three panel comics, and wrapping up with editing, and basic reproduction of work, there is something for everyone, no matter your level of comfort with drawing. Stick figures work, and so do Rembrandt like figure drawings.

This class moves at your pace, but the goal is to have a two page comic ready for dissemination at the end. Join comic book maker, and visual artist Alison Uhma for some creative enjoyment, and skill building.
