Anticlastic & Fold Forming in Metal (Intermediate Level)
Date: January 30 – March 20, 2019 (Wednesdays, 8 weeks)
Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Instructor: Lynda Lou MacIntyre
Fee: $156 plus HST (Members) | Fee: $179.40 plus HST (Non Members)

In this eight week course, we will be exploring beyond the basics of anticlastic raising & forging. This process allows you to create exceptionally strong, flexible, lightweight, and organic-looking forms. In anticlastic forming, a flat sheet of metal is shaped by compressing its edges and stretching the center. Like its cousin, fold-forming, this technique has endless possibilities; rings, pendants, bracelets! Let your individual style shine!!

Lynda Lou MacIntyre is an artist living in CB.
