Anticlastic & Fold Forming in Metal (Intermediate Level)
Date: January 30 – March 20, 2019 (Wednesdays, 8 weeks)
Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Instructor: Lynda Lou MacIntyre

In this eight week course, we will be exploring beyond the basics of anticlastic raising & forging. This process allows you to create exceptionally strong, flexible, lightweight, and organic-looking forms. In anticlastic forming, a flat sheet of metal is shaped by compressing its edges and stretching the center. Like its cousin, fold-forming, this technique has endless possibilities; rings, pendants, bracelets! Let your individual style shine!!

Lynda Lou MacIntyre is an artist living in CB. She studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School and the NS College of Art and Design in Halifax where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Education degrees.
