Lifelong multidisciplinary artist Sharon Heading began print making as part of her arts education. She found the process of carving lino to be equally as rewarding as the finished piece of art. This beginner course will introduce participants to the joy of printmaking. Creating a simple design, image transfer, carving, inking and printing by hand and on the press will be covered over this four week class.
Material fees are not included.

Sharon is a multidiscipline artist who has been creating most of her life. She developed a love of felting when as part of her work with Arts Council she helped an artist take a hobby and turn it into a business. Working with felting artis Megan Magsun she became hooked on felting. Sharon is incorporating felting into her mixed medium art pieces and finds felting to be a very satisfying craft. Sharon grew up in Cape Breton and is pleased to be back home in an arts based community!
