Building off of the skills learned during the Introductory course, you’re all set to make something unique, with stones! This semester’s intermediate course will focus on stone setting, and fabricating the jewellery to set them confidently in. A small selection of stones, as well as sterling silver metal will be available to purchase throughout the course. (No class February 17)

Material fees are not included.

Emily Dickinson is a local goldsmith who works at Inglis Jewellers in downtown Sydney. She studied in New Brunswick at The College of Craft and Design as well as The University of New Brunswick where she obtained her Applied Arts Degree. When she isn’t in the studio playing with gold and diamonds, she can be found cutting stones, rockhounding, gold panning, and doing generally anything that helps better her skills. Emily generally prefers repair work as she loves the challenge of fixing broken jewellery as well as the lack of paperwork, but also finds time for a few projects here and there in her spare time.

Advance registration for members begins January 2
