In this series of classes you will be introduced to the amazing world of silver metal clay and some of the possibilities of its use in jewellery making. This malleable clay can be rolled, textured and shaped into jewellery and then torched or kiln fired.
Open new doors to jewellery creation with what you learn in these six classes.

Karen Wawer has been teaching jewellery making at the Centre for the last three years and has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning new techniques. Once perfected, she enjoys sharing her knowledge with her friends and students.
As a member of the Metal Arts Guild of Nova Scotia, Karen shows her work regularly in its juried shows and is in the process of setting up her own jewellery business!
Karen also has a level one certificate to teach metal clay techniques.
