In this class you will learn the basics of carving and printing linoleum blocks. Mark-making and colour will be explored. A printing press will be used in this class, although we will also discuss DIY printing methods that can be used at home. No printmaking experience is required for this class.

Anna GravesĀ is an emerging artist originally from Ottawa, ON. She holds a BFA from NSCAD University, where she focused on printmaking and art history. Anna explores identity and landscape through large-scale lithographs, screen prints, and smaller embossed prints. Anna is currently an artist in residence at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design where she is eager to share her love of printmaking with others.
