This eight-week course will cover the fundamentals of screen printing onto paper. Screen printing has been an important element of print media over the last century. Students will have a chance to experiment with monoprints, handmade stencils, and photo emulsion processes. No printmaking experience is required for this class.

Anna GravesĀ is an emerging artist originally from Ottawa, ON. She holds a BFA from NSCAD University, where she focused on printmaking and art history. Anna explores identity and landscape through large-scale lithographs, screen prints, and smaller embossed prints. Anna is currently an artist in residence at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design where she is eager to share her love of printmaking with others.
