This 6 week course will cover all the basics of rug hooking. Although we are starting at the very beginning, students with some knowledge are welcome if you are interested in picking up the craft again. We will be hooking a folk art style pattern of a sheep with a geometric boarder using yarn and wool fabric.

During the time of the course we will also be learning about transferring patterns and finishing your hooked pieces. At the end of the six weeks you have have everything you need to continue on to your next project. The cost of materials for the wool and pattern for the course is $55. Frames and hooks will be available to borrow for the duration of the course to be returned on the last night.
