What a perfect class for Valentine’s Day! Love knots symbolize the connection between two people: separate components that are forever connected and intertwined. You’ll learn wire forming techniques using various tools, and a simple yet elegant way to join the knot components to make a bracelet.  (Maximum 10 students)

Natasha Matthews (Tasha Grace Designs) has recently moved from Manitoba and is currently an Artist in Residence at the Customs House Artisan Incubator in Port Hawkesbury. She has been teaching jewellery classes for four years. Her work features intricacy, flowing lines, curves, and a splash of whimsy. She excels at wire weaving which is an unusual technique that produces delicate and complex patterns with very thin wire. While studying Graphic Design at NSCAD, she discovered metalsmithing at this world-class institution. By the end of her first day, she was hooked forever, and considered herself to be a jewellery artist at heart from that day forward.

The Town of Port Hawkesbury is a proud sponsor of the Customs House courses and workshops.
