Like in the 70s, only better! Learn how to use wire to create flowers and frames, then gain the techniques needed to fill empty spaces with a magical sheet of nail polish! They are pretty as a picture and perfect for all types of jewellery or just for decoration. Use your favorite polish colours to give a personal touch!

Gayle Bird is an online education instructor and course developer, writing and teaching curriculum for adult learners in various design subjects. She taught herself jewellery design and became a juried member of the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design in 2007. Her jewellery is sold in stores across Nova Scotia.

She published her first book, Freeform Wire Art Jewellery: Techniques for designing with wire, beads & gems, in the spring of 2015, and is the instructor of the 2016 five-star class on Organic Wire-Wrapped Pendants. From big, bold pieces that are daringly colourful to smaller, delicate choices for a subtle brilliance, you’re sure to find the exact piece to fit your personality. A proud Cape Breton artist, Gayle is dedicated to creating beautiful, distinctive jewellery that anybody can wear-and everybody will be talking about!
