Wool Painting (Introductory Level)

Learn how to paint with wool. Using needles as your brush and wool roving as you paint, you will learn techniques to create texture and to blend wool together to create a 2D felted image. Cost of materials is $10 payable to the instructor.

Bailee Higgins is an artist based in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. Bailee graduated with her BFA from Mount Allison in 2020 and is currently working towards her Masters in Art Education at NSCAD. She paints bold and vibrant acrylic landscapes inspired by places she has visited on drives, beach days and hikes. Her use of bright colours and thick brush strokes aim to capture the feeling of a place.
