Stained Glass (Introductory to Intermediate Level)
April 11 – May 30, 2017 (Tuesdays, 8 weeks)
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This program provides the student with opportunities to develop basic skills (control glass cuts, grinding, foiling and soldering glass pieces) as well as intermediate skills required to create stained glass projects. Students may create a project of their own design/choice or a pattern may be provided. Registration fees include use of grinding and soldering tools. Beginners’ kits are available for purchase.
Irene Campbell is an artist living in Sydney, Nova Scotia. She has been working with glass for many years. The range of her work includes stained glass lamps, windows, sun catchers, panels, repairs and mirrors. Teaching is a very exciting aspect of her work. Irene taught at the Centre for Craft & Design when it was at the former location in the Lyceum building on George Street.
