Pick up your favourite hammers and explore the wonderful world of fold forming! Using sterling silver and copper, you will create unique, three-dimensional jewellery pieces. With the fold-forming technique, you will learn how to stretch and shrink forms using hammers and hand tools – a very satisfying, tactile process.
Students will be required to purchase their own metals, available through the Centre. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe footwear is recommended for safety.
Lynda Lou MacIntyre is an artist working in watercolour painting, metal smithing, silk painting and printmaking. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the natural elegance of living and has been exhibited in solo and group shows.
