Ashley Anne Clark
Ashley Anne Clark is a multi-disciplinary artist from PEI, now residing in Cape Breton whose work promotes storytelling and appreciation for the untamed world. She lived in numerous countries throughout her life and has a BFA from Concordia University. Her work has appeared globally in arts festivals, galleries, as large-scale murals and on award winning album covers, and has explored her practice further in multiple artist residencies. Her art highlights the importance of biodiversity and displays animals with complex emotions, evolutionary adaptations and unique communication skills. She incorporates natural elements such as seaweed and tree branches into her mixed media artwork. The core of her practice is driven from the environment and our interconnectivity to the wild world around us.
