Emily Madinsky
Emily Madinsky is an interdisciplinary artist from Unama’ki Cape Breton with a double major in Studio Arts and Art History & Theory from Bishop’s University. Working across printmaking, painting, and sculpture, Emily’s current illustration series explores nostalgia and cultural nuances rooted in Cape Breton life. Her works blend familiar objects and natural motifs, transforming them into quiet reflections on memory, community, and place. Each piece serves as an ode to the island’s material culture and the landscapes that shape her creative identity.
