Paul Moore – Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design

Paul Moore

Paul Moore is a lifelong resident of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Creative from a young age, Paul apprenticed with a woodworker making wooden crafts in high school. While he still loves woodworking, a treasure trove of beach glass collected by his wife, turned his interest to wire wrapping. This led to some introduction to jewellery classes at the Centre for Craft and Design. Paul’s interest in other forms of jewelry expanded.  He now works with copper, silver and most recently titanium. Paul is a juried member of the Metal Arts Guild of Nova Scotia. He has also served as Chair for Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design as well as the YMCA of Cape Breton. Paul’s work is constantly evolving and his love of the craft is evident in his work.
