Unwind and get creative in this Hand-Building Clay & Cats class. Over two Tuesdays, you’ll sculpt your own whimsical ceramic cat using hand-building techniques-no wheel required. From shaping and detailing to adding personality and expression, this relaxed evening class is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike.
All materials included – just bring your imagination and enjoy a fun, social night of clay and creativity.
Course fees include clay, glazes, firings and use of all studio tools and equipment.
Glynis Thomas has always had a passion for art and shares that love with her four children. She has been painting, drawing, and sculpting (with clay, paper) for over 40 years. She is a certified instructor for the RESPECT & DARE (to resist drugs and violence) programs for kids as well as a First Aid/CPR Instructor for 30 yrs. Glynis believes in combining the knowledge of how clay can be worked with self-expression, laughter and the joy of art for the sake of art.
