In this session, you will explore more complicated shapes in fold-forming. Building on the knowledge of tools and techniques you already have, you will explore the possibilities of creating new wearable fold-formed pieces! (no class on November 11)

Forging with tools created for anticlastic and synclastic forms, you will love the 3-dimensional pieces you come up with. They can be elegant and sleek, or embellished with stones and pearls.

Lynda Lou MacIntyre

Students will be required to purchase their own metals, available through the Centre. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe footwear is recommended for safety.

Lynda Lou MacIntyre is an artist working in watercolour painting, metal smithing, silk painting and printmaking. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the natural elegance of living and has been exhibited in solo and group shows. Lynda Lou has worked as an art teacher for the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board, has taught countless art workshops, has been a mentor for many students and currently teaches jewellery making at the Centre.
