Exploring the possibilities of the disc cutters, dapping tools and their application in creating new pieces. Using new tools recently acquired by the Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design for use in the Metal Arts Studio, you will create a new piece that requires using these tools. You will incorporate your understanding of these tools into your skill bank to enhance your work. You may also draw upon your skills of texturing, stone setting and other embellishments to add to this new neckpiece, pendant, ring, chain or bracelet. (No class June 14)

Students will be required to purchase their own metals, which are available through the Centre.
