Ever see someone wearing a beautiful pair of forged earrings & you wonder what it took to make those? Well, come to this session & learn how to create your own earrings to suit yourself! As well as the forged earrings, we will be making a pair with fused sterling silver filings as the surface texture. This is a course for students with prior jewellery making skills who have completed classes at CBCCD. (No class on September 25 or October 16 but the classes will be made up in between weeks)

Students will be required to purchase their own metals, available through the Centre. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe footwear is recommended for safety.

Lynda Lou MacIntyre is an artist working in watercolour painting, metal smithing, silk painting and printmaking. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the natural elegance of living and has been exhibited in solo and group shows. Lynda Lou has worked as an art teacher for the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board, has taught countless art workshops, has been a mentor for many students and currently teaches jewellery making at the Centre.
