Create your own leather pouch! Big enough to carry your wallet, e-book, and bits and bobs. Starting with a simple design, modified to suit your needs and aesthetics. Be the envy of friends and family. Carry your gear in style!
If there is something specific you would like in your pouch, you can bring it to the class for sizing. As long as it’s no bigger than an e-book.
Kristina Rawlings is a master leatherworker who has created pieces for clientele across North American, Europe and Australia. She has taught numerous students over the years the intricacies and deep satisfaction of working with this renewable, incredibly long lasting, versatile material.
Week One: Learn basics about working with leather; look over the leathery selection and finalize design. Make your pattern pieces.
Weeks Two & Three: Start assembling and cutting pieces, finishing edges, prepping, and sewing
Week Four: Finish detailing; make straps / handles and complete the ensemble.
Advance registration for members begins March 24
