Mold, sculpt and decorate a unique piece of ceramics with your own hands and our expert instruction. Join Gord to learn his techniques, shortcuts and produce some teapots with a human element. Handbuilding is a ceramics technique that allows you to create forms with clay and your hands, without using a throwing wheel. Before ceramicists invented the wheel, it was the only way they could create functional and artistic ceramic forms.

Class fees include the use of tools, equipment, firings and glazes. Students can purchase clay from the centre. ($35/bag)
