Craft Week 2026 is a week-long celebration June 1-7, 2026, that exists to celebrate, showcase, and elevate the diverse and vibrant craft traditions of Unama’ki Cape Breton. Through a dynamic week of events, workshops, exhibitions, and community gatherings, Craft Week fosters connections between makers and learners, locally and beyond.

2D Felting Workshop for Kids (8+)

Make your very own 2D scene using the calming, and very forgiving craft of needle felting. Also known as “wool painting,” 2D needle felting is achieved by layering thin wisps of roving wool and stabbing them with fine-gauge needles to create textured images. No experience needed, just imagination! This workshop is suitable for kids ages 8+.
