The Teapots are Having a Party and You’re Invited!
Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design is pleased to introduce The Teapots are Having a Party and You’re Invited, a pottery exhibition by Jitka Zgola. The opening reception for The Teapots are Having a Party and You’re Invited will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Centre’s Loft.
A tea pot can be elegant, pretty or whimsical, but how well does it work? The joy comes in finding this balance. Zgola’s exploration of this balance will offer teapots and accessories created on the potters wheel. The pieces that come from a trade originally intended for practical use are offered in the context of imaginative and aesthetic expression. The artist will be present to talk about her process.
The Teapots are Having a Party and You’re Invited will be on display in the Centre’s Loft until December 3, 2022.
