Celebrate the Counter Culture’s closing with a special community recipe zine powered by you! Throughout the exhibition, we’ve invited visitors to share the stories and ingredients behind the foods they love. Ranging from ancestral traditions and family favorites to comforting meals and decadent desserts we’ve asked how you make local ingredients sing in meaningful ways.
Your contributed recipe cards have been compiled into a beautiful zine, created by artist-illustrator Cora Parago, that celebrates how we nourish ourselves with humble ingredients to create the finest of meals. Memory-rich and calorie-dense, this collection captures the meaningful recipes that connect us to place, heritage, and each other.
Join us to pick up your free copy and celebrate the power of cooking and eating together. After all, what’s better than sharing a meal? By sharing these recipes, we can learn to cook together and create new memories around the table.
