Join the Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design for the first ever Sustainable Craft Symposium.

Taking place on September 16 from 9-4:30 at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre (50 Maillard St, Membertou), the Sustainable Craft Symposium aims to support the sustainable development of the Unama’ki – Cape Breton Island craft sector.

Join us in exploring the intersections between craft and sustainability through 3 panel discussions: Art and Sustainable Practice, Crafting a Network of Support and Sustainable Futures, a catered lunch, a collaborative problem solving session, a musical performance and more.
